Diane Evans

Have lived in the village all of my life.

I’ve been part of many groups and associations:
-Ysgol Feithrin Llandudoch Committee Member
-Chair/Vice Chairman of the PTA and Parent Governor of Ysgol Llandudoch
-Church Hall Treasurer
-Presently Parish Secretary of St. Thomas Church St. Dogmaels
-Secretary for the Poppit Sheep Shareholders at the Webley Hotel.
(We have raised moneys for local Charities over the last 30 years.)
-Eisteddfod Llandudoch Committee Member

I have recently retired as Office Manager for a Cleaning Company and previously worked as a Legal Secretary for over 20 years.

I would wish to ensure that the village keeps a successful community pub so that both residents and visitors can enjoy. It also has a sentimental meaning to me as my great grandfather Johnny Jones who was a seine fishermen/RNLI member and very much a regular at the White Hart and the Teifi Netpool Pub so its important to keep its history going.

Rwyf wedi byw yn y pentre gyd om bywyd, a wedi bod yn rhan o sawl grwp a chymdeithas, sef –

– Aelod pwyllgor o Ysgol Feithrin Llandudoch
– Cadeirydd a is-gadeirydd o’r CRA a hefyd oeddwn yn rhiant lywodraethwr o
Ysgol Gynradd Landudoch
– Trysorudd neuadd yr eglwys
– Ysgrifennyddes bresennol i Eglwys Blwyf St Thomas, Llandudoch
– Ysgrifennyddes i’r Cyfranddawyr Defaid ym Mhoppit, yng Ngwesty’r Webley
(rydym wedi codi arian i sawl elusen lleol dros a 30 mlynedd dwethaf)
– Aelod pwyllgor Eisteddfod Llandudoch

Rwy’n gweithio fel rheolwr swyddfa i cwmni glanhau. Yn blaenorol, bum yn ysgrifennyddes cyfreithiol am 20 mlynedd.

Rwyf eisiau sicrhau bod y pentref yn cadw tafarn cymunedol llwyddiannus er mwyn i trigolion a ymwelwyr eu mwynhau. Mae hi hefyd en beth syniadol i mi oherwydd oedd fy hen-dad-cu Johnny Jones, a oedd yn pysgotwr san a hefyd yn aelod o’r bad achub, arfer ymweld a’r Hydd Wyn a hefyd Y Teifi yn y Netpool, felly mae hi mor bwysig i diogelu’r hanes.
